ICCI establishes Fiscal Council to strengthen transparency and governance

Exciting news! Strengthening our commitment to transparency and governance, we have recently established our Fiscal Council, composed of professionals with extensive experience in finance, accounting, and administration.

They share ICCI’s vision that pro-climate and inclusive policies and a robust democracy are sine qua non conditions for Brazil’s sustainable development.

Meet the members of our Fiscal Council:

Daniela Gama holds a degree in Accounting and a postgraduate degree in Business Management Accounting, with more than 21 years of experience in financial auditing, process and internal controls, compliance, and risk management. Her career spans leadership roles in major companies such as PwC and academic contributions as a Professor at UFRJ. She is committed not only to technical training but also to mentoring Black professionals in their career development, helping to advance inclusion and equity in the workplace.

Gilberto Costa holds a degree in Accounting, a postgraduate degree in Finance, and an MBA in Strategy, bringing more than 30 years of experience in the financial sector and over two decades in people management. Based in Delaware, Gilberto is a distinguished Executive Director at J.P. Morgan, where he leads the Private Bank LATAM and Global Family Group Operations, and supports operations across LATAM, Canada, and the Caribbean. Dedicated not only to cultivating high-performing teams but also to fostering an inclusive workplace through his extensive work in Diversity and Inclusion, he is co-founder and Executive Director of the nonprofit organization "Pact to Promote Racial Equity" (Pacto de Promoção da Equidade Racial) in Brazil, an initiative that promotes racial equity and philanthropy.

Pedro Affonso Ferreira holds a degree in Business Administration and three MBAs: Executive, Hospital Management, and Marketing. He is certified by IBGC as a Board Member, as a CFO by Columbia Business School, and in FP&A by the Association for Financial Professionals. He currently works as a Consultant at FGV Projetos and serves as a Fiscal Council Member at Rede Nacional de Ciência para a Educação. With over 25 years of experience focused on operational improvement and financial sustainability, he has led multidisciplinary teams in the Business and Finance departments of large national and multinational companies in the Telecom and Healthcare sectors, with his work in the latter also extending to the nonprofit sector.
