Manifesto

We believe that transforming Brazil requires transforming the way we talk about Brazil. Our work is rooted in the conviction that communication is impact infrastructure. It mobilizes. It connects. It sheds light on complex issues without reducing them. It builds bridges.

We help consolidate narratives, democratize information, and strengthen public debate. But communication is not only about informing. It is also about moving people, awakening curiosity, and inspiring imagination.

We support initiatives on climate, democracy, and justice with something that is often missing: the ability to make more people care. We partner with those who believe that other forms of dialogue are possible: less polarized, more thoughtful, and more empathetic.

We need to re-enchant public discourse. We are ICCI. We work to ensure that good ideas find meaningful conversations, and that meaningful conversations help build a better country.

Recognizing that communications and cultural initiatives are crucial to drive progress in climate, democracy, and justice, ICCI was established in 2023 to mobilize national and international philanthropic resources to strengthen this ecosystem.

In addition to providing financial support, ICCI facilitates collaboration amongst initiatives, develops research, and promotes the importance of strategic communications within philanthropy.

Vision

Create a social landscape where voters, business and political leaders - no matter their ideological inclinations - understand that pro-climate and inclusive policies and a robust democracy are sine-qua-non conditions for Brazil’s sustainable development.

Theory of Change

Our theory of change is rooted in the belief that a specialized strategic communications regranter will support the development of an innovative communications ecosystem, capable of reaching strategic audiences and amplifying the debate around our cause-areas in civil society, the private sector and in politics . In essence, our strategy aims to ignite both social and political will, translating them into tangible actions that drive positive change in our cause areas.
