Jheniffer Ribeiro
Programmatic Coordinator
Jheniffer is a journalist and historian with extensive experience in cause-based communication campaigns, coalition building and research. Before joining ICCI, she was communications coordinator at GEMAA (Multidisciplinary Group for Affirmative Action at IESP-UERJ). Prior to that, Jheniffer worked at leading non-profit organizations such as Mulheres Negras Decidem, Marielle Franco Institute, Amnesty International and Reporters Without Borders. Her interests lie in the field of racial and gender justice and in developing strategies to overcome inequalities. In 2023, she coordinated the national campaign "Ministra Negra Já", which called for the appointment of a black woman to the Brazilian Supreme Court and has become a landmark of effective strategic communications campaigns.
